We are seeking a Business Development Manager to fuel UK growth for a leading distributor of specialty ingredients to the beauty & personal care industry. Identify and convert new business opportunities, with hands-on training that will elevate your formulation skills.
Key Responsibilities
– Help to drive growth of the Beauty & Personal Care portfolio in the UK through strategic pipeline management
– dentify emerging indie brands, unlocking new revenue streams
– Spearhead cross-functional collaboration, showcasing the company’s cutting-edge capabilities
– Support colleagues in key customer meetings, fostering strong relationships through specialist advice and technical expertise
– Conduct regular commercial reviews, converting ideas and opportunities into sales
– Cultivate and nurture relationships with top Beauty & Personal Care suppliers
– Represent the company, building productive connections at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions
– Manage prospective leads from social media, website, direct approach and all other touchpoints
Candidate Requirements
– Chemistry/Cosmetic Science degree, or equivalent industry experience
– A tenacious growth-driver with proven strategy execution
– Top-notch communication, analytical and numeracy skills
– Collaborative team player who enables and celebrates cross-functional success
– Skilled at building team and customer relationships in a remote working role
