French manufacturer and supplier of packaging solutions for the beauty and cosmetics industries, Ileos has acquired Le Papillon Inc., the leader in contract filling and samples for fragrance and cosmetic in the United States.
Established in 1975 by Watson Warriner,. Le Papillon has 120 employees and posted a turnover of 49 million dollars in 2012. The company runs two manufacturing facilities in New Jersey.
“This acquisition reinforces Ileos’ leadership in the full service & manufacture of unidose and samples for the fragrance and cosmetics industry through its dedicated division Bioplan, managed by Ludovic Anceau,” says the Ileos group in a release.
Actually, after the integration of Le Papillon, Ileos will achieve a turnover of 388 million euros in 2012, thus confirming its position as global leader, and allowing it to strengthen its position in the United States. The group employs 4,000 people in 14 locations in Europe, the United States, Brazil and China.
